Senior Vice President, Procurement & Supply Chain

Janet Watson

Janet Watson joined U.S. Renal Care as Senior Vice President, Procurement and Supply Chain in 2021. Janet brings over 20 years experience as a leader in supply chain management. In her previous role at Baylor Scott & White Health as the Vice President, Strategic Sourcing, she, and her team, delivered a system-wide transformation of not only how contracting, and purchasing were executed, but how supply chain was integrated with the business. She led a best-in-class strategic sourcing capability that delivered over $350 million in value during her four-year tenure.

In 2020, she was recognized in The Journal of Healthcare Contracting spotlight on Women Leaders in Supply Chain. She was also an instrumental part of the team that earned the Gartner Top 25 Healthcare Supply Chain designation ranked #16 in 2020 and #4 in 2021. She has served as a corporate board member with Women’s Business Council Southwest.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance (BBA) from Texas Tech University and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from West Texas A&M University. Janet is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
